Fis-sitta ta’ filgħaxija (6.00pm) Marċ mill-1st Cospicua Scouts Group mat-toroq
prinċipali tal-Birgu fejn jilħaq il-qofol tiegħu
b`parata minn l-istess grupp f’Misraħ ir-Rebħa.

Knisja Parrokjali ta’ San Lawrenz, fejn jieħdu
sehem l-Arċipriet u l-Kapitlu tal-Knisja
Kolleġjata ta’ San Lawrenz flimkien mal-Pirjol
u l-Patrijiet tal-Komunita Dumnikana tal-Birgu.

“Minn wara s-Swar” f`Couvre Porte
miktuba mis-Sur George Peresso, taħt id-
direzzjoni tas-Sur Darren Agius, li għaliha r-
residenti kollha tal-Birgu huma mistiedna.

BIRGU DAY 2011
Programme of Activities organised by the Birgu Local Council
Sunday 4th September
of Vittoriosa. This exhibition will be held at the Auberge de France, and will be inaugurated by the Mayor Mr. John Boxall.
Six o’clock in the evening (6:00pm) Band Parade from the 1st Cospicua Scouts Group, around the main streets of Vittoriosa, which will then reach its peak at Misrah ir-Rebha
Six o’clock in the evening (6:00pm) Thanksgiving Mass concelebrated in the Parish Church of St. Lawrence, with the participation of the Archipriest and the Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Lawrence, together with the Prior and Friar of the Dominican Community of Birgu
Blessing of the graves in Misrah ir-Rebha, followed by the unveiling of the newly restored Niche of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, found in St. Lawrence Street.

Monday 5th September
Ten o’clock in the morning(10:00am) Book donation to the Regional Library by the
Birgu Local Council, where for this presentation,
all the children of the locality of Birgu will be present.
Tuesday 6th September
Eight o’clock in the evening (8:00pm) Concert by Singer Fiona Cauchi, who represented the City of Birgu abroad, in the Oralities project funded by the European Union. This will be held in Couvre Porte.
Half past eight in the evening (8:30pm) This will be followed by the presentation of the
play “Minn Wara s-Swar”, written by Mr. George Peresso, and directed by Mr. Darren Agius. All the residents of Birgu are invited to attend.
Wednesday 7th September Birgu Day 2011
Six o’clock in the evening (6:00pm) The Cities Glorious Day. Celebration will begin
with the participation of the “In Guardia” together with the participation of all the associations and societies of Birgu, which will then reach their peak at Misrah ir-Rebha
