Junior Science Club

Why Join?

The Junior Science Club aims to provide young students the opportunity to experience science investigations and practical science-related activities that extend their learning in the classroom environment.
The Junior Science Clubs aim to provide students practice of science-related process skills and
increased potential to develop and practice critical thinking, communication skills and self-appraisal.
The Junior Science Clubs are available for students in years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Date, Time and Venue
The Junior Science Clubs for students in years 3 and 4 will be held every Wednesday from 4.15 to
5.30 pm.
The Junior Science Club for students in years 5 and 6 will be held every Wednesday from 5.45 to
7.00 pm.
All sessions will be held at the Birgu Regional Public Library.
Applicable fee
A payment of Eur 60 is requested on registration of each participating student.
The Junior Science Club sessions will start on Wednesday 21st October 2015 and last till the last week on 25th May 2016. Parents / guardians will be notified of holiday periods after registration.

Interested individuals are asked to compile the registration form and forward it together with the Eur60 payment to the Birgu Local Council during office hours by Monday 12th October 2015.
