“Dhalia Real Estate Services” tgħin finanzjarjament fir-restawr tas-‘Sala Nobile’ fil-Berġa ta’ Franza

 

 
Is-Sur Franco Valletta, Chairman u Kap Eżekuttiv tad-"Dhalia Real Estate Services", jippreżenta ċ-ċekk lis-Sindku tal-Birgu, s-Sur John Boxall.
  
 
Waħda mill-aqwa kumpaniji tal-bejgħ tal-propjeta f’Malta, “Dhalia Real Estate Services”, ftit tax-xhur ilu permezz tac-Chairman u Kap Eżekuttiv tagħha, s-Sur Franco Valletta, hekk kif ġie mxandar li waħda mill-aktar binjiet storiċi fil-Belt Marittima tal-Birgu, dik tal-Berġa ta’ Franza, ġiet devoluta lill-Kunsill Lokali tal-Birgu, saret talba lill-istess Kunsill, sabiex f’dan il-post tal-għola grad storiku din il-kumpanija kull tant żmien, fis-‘Sala Nobile’ tibda tagħmel il-laqgħat lill-impjegati maniġerjali tagħha. Għal din it-talba l-Kunsill irrisponda pożittivament u offra l-għajnuna tiegħu kull fejn hu possibli sabiex din is-sala tkun attrezzata b’dak kollhu relatat mal-bżonnijiet biex isiru dawn il-laqgħat, minkejja l-istat li kienet tinsab fiha l-imsemmija sala.
 
Bħala ġest ta’ ringrazzjament u rikonoxximent, il-kumpanija “Dhalia Real Estate Services” offriet lill-Kunsill Lokali tal-Birgu, s-somma ta’ sebat elef Ewro (€7,000) sabiex is-‘Sala Nobile’ ta’ din il-binja majestuża u ta’ mportanza kbira tiġi restawrata.
 
Ftit tax-xhur ilu, l-Kunsill beda jagħmel xi xogħlijiet ta’ restawr f’din is-sala dawk l-aktar bżonnjużi biex ma tkomplix issir ħsara strutturali speċjalment fis-saqaf u t-travi fejn kawża ta’ l-ilmijiet tax-xita laħqet saret xi ħsara. Ma’ dawn ix-xogħlijiet ġew inklużi l-aperturi u l-bibien fejn bl-akbar dedikazzjoni u professjonalita fis-sengħa, dawn reġgħu ġew fl-istat oriġinali tagħhom.
 
Matul dawn l-aħħar xhur, kienu bosta personalitajiet distinti li żaru din il-binja fosthom, is-Segretarju Parlamentari għall-Konsumatur, Kompetizzjoni Ġusta, Kunsilli Lokali u Konsultazzjoni Pubblika, l-Onorevoli Chris Said u l-Ministru tal-Edukazzjoni, Żgħażagħ u Kultura, l-Onorevoli Dolores Cristina, li taħt ir-responsabilta tagħha jaqgħu dawk il-ħaddiema tal-E.T.C. li huma assenjati mal-Kunsill Lokali tal-Birgu, li wħud minnhom qegħdin jagħmlu xogħlijiet ta’ żebgħa f’dan il-post, il-Kap tal-Oppożizzjoni, Dr Joseph Muscat, waqt żjara li għamel fil-lokalita, u l-Ambaxxatur Franċiż, l-Eċċellenza Tiegħu s-Sur Daniel Rondeau, fejn kollha kemm huma baqgħu impressjonati bix-xogħol li qiegħed isir u b’liema reqqa dan qiegħed isir.
 
Ma’ dawn ma setatx tonqos il-viżita li għamel ftit tal-ġranet ilu, is-Sur Franco Valletta, Chairman u Kap Eżekuttiv tal-kumpanija “Dhalia Real Estate Services”, li matula akkumpanjat mis-Sindku tal-Birgu, s-Sur John Boxall, dar ma’ kull rokna ta’ din il-binja majestuża u ħa l-opportunita biex isegwi lill-ħaddiema li jagħmlu x-xogħol ta’ restawr fuq l-aperturi tas-“Sala Nobile” .
 
 
 
Fi tmien din il-mawra f’din il-binja tal-ogħla grad storiku, is-Sur Franco Valletta għan-nom tad-“Dhalia Real Estate Services” ippreżenta ċ-ċekk ta’ sebat elef Ewro lis-Sindku tal-Birgu sabiex jagħmel tajjeb għar-restawr ta’ din is-sala. F’diskors qasir s-Sur Valletta, faħħar l-inizjattiva tal-Kunsill mhux biss dawk biex tiġi restawrata l-Berġa ta’ Franza u jisfrutta kull opportunita li tista’ tittieħed biex dan il-bini jerġa’ jibda jitgawda mill-pubbliku inġenerali, nklużi dawk it-turisti li jżuru din il-Belt Marittima, imma anke dawk l-inizjattivi li kontinwament qegħdin jittieħdu biex il-Belt Vittoriosa ssir fuq quddiem nett bħala destinazzjoni turistika.
 
Huwa kompla billi rringrazzja lill-Kunsill Lokali tal-Birgu tal-opportunita li ta lill-Kunpanija tiegħu biex setgħet tuża’ parti minn din il-binja għal-laqgħat għall-impjegati maniġerjali tagħha.
 
Is-Sur Valletta tenna d-diskors tiegħu billi awgura kull suċċess f’ħidmitu għall-ġid tal-komunita Vittoriosana u wiegħed l-għajnuna tal-kumpanija tiegħu kull fejn ikun possibli lill-Kunsill Lokali tal-Birgu.

“Dahlia Real Estate” financially assists in the restoration of the ‘Sala Nobile' at the Auberge de France

One of the companies of property negotiations in Malta, “Dhalia Real Estate”, a few months ago, as soon as it was announced that one of the most historic buildings in the Maritime City of Birgu, the Auberge de France, was devolved to the Birgu Local Council, with a request from its CEO, Mr Franco Valletta, requested to the Council to start using the Sala Nobile of this place of a high historical importance, to host the company’s managerial meetings. The Council responded positively to the request and offered its help wherever it was possible to have the hall with its limited resources equipped with all the facilities needed for these meetings.
 
As a gesture of recognition, the company “Dhalia Real Estate” offered the Birgu Local Council, the sum of seven thousand Euros (€7,000) to have the ‘Sala Nobile' of this magnificent building of great importance, to be restored.
 
A few months ago, the Council started doing some restoration works on the mostly needed items, to prevent further structural damage. Works were needed on the roof and beams which were heavily damaged cause if the rain waters.
 
Throughout the past months, there were many distinguished personalities who visited this magnificent building. These include, the Parliamentary Secretary for Consumer, Fair Competition, Local Councils and Public Consultation, Dr Chris Said and the Minister of Education, Youth and Culture, Ms Dolores Cristina, whom the responsibility of the ETC workers who are assigned with the Birgu Local Council to do works at the mentioned building, fall under her jurisdiction. The Opposition Leader, Dr Joseph Muscat, during a visit in the locality also visited this magnificent building and even His Excellency the French Ambassador, Mr Daniel Rondeau, who all were impressed with the work being carried out so far.
 
Mr Franco Valletta, Chairman and CEO of the company “Dhalia Real Estate Services”, also visited the works being done at the Auberge de France, who whilst being accompanied by the Mayor, Mr John Boxall, went around to every corner of this magnificent building and took the opportunity to see the restoration being carried out by the workers on the windows of the ‘Sala Nobile’.
 

 

At the end of this tour around this building of great historical value, Mr Franco Valletta on behalf of “Dhalia Real Estate Services” presented a cheque of seven thousand Euros to the Mayor of Birgu, to compensate for part of the restoration works that were carried out in the hall so far. In his speech, Mr Valletta praised the initiatives undertaken by the Birgu Local Council, not only to restore this building and to exploit the opportunity for it to be enjoyed by the general public, including the tourists who visited this Maritime City, but also those initiatives undertaken by the Local Council, to continually put the importance of the City of Birgu as a tourist destination.

 
He continued to thank the Birgu Local Council for the opportunity given to his company to use part of this building for its managerial staff meetings.
 
Mr Valletta ended his speech by wishing every success to the Mayor in the work done in the Vittoriosa community and pledged his company’s assistance to the Birgu Local Council wherever possible.
 
The Mayor, Mr John Boxall, then thanked “Dhalia Real Estate Services”, for the generous donation that it gave to the Local Council for the restoration works of the ‘Sala Nobile’ and hoped for a better working future between the two entities, and on behalf of the Birgu Local Council promised every possible assistance to this company.
