Supporting Personnel
Ms. Lara Grima has started working with the Birgu Local Council in March 2011. Ms. Grima is from Zabbar and was born in 1986.
Before joining the Birgu Local Council, Ms. Grima was employed with Lufthansa Technik Malta for the past two and a half years as a Planning Support Assistant.
Ms. Grima has been employed with the Local Council as a clerk where she is responsible for the day to day general duties. She is also responsible for the receipt of payment of contraventions & landrent and issuing of permits. |

Mrs. Moira Azzopardi has started working with the Birgu Local Council in October 2009. Mrs. Azzopardi is from the village of Safi and was born in 1976. Mrs. Azzopardi works as a part time clerk with the Local Council and her responsibilities include the day to day general duties and the customer care section of the Council. Ms. Azzopardi is also responsible for the implementation of the EU Co-funded project 'SECRET'. |

Ms. Marilyn Ellul has started working with the Birgu Local Council from September, 2011. Ms. Ellul was born in 1990 and lives in Hal Ghaxaq. |

Ms. Christine Bonello was employed by the Birgu Local Council on 15th March 2006. She was born in 1983 and lives in Msida. Ms. Bonello is the executive, administrative and financial head of the Council. As the Executive Secretary, her job is to ensure that all Council decisions are implemented in the most efficient manner with a properly maintained administrative network while ensuring proper financial control throughout the year. Day to day tasks include report writing and taking minutes of all council meetings. Ms Bonello is also responsable for the project co-ordination of all the projects funded by the European Union, that the Birgu Local Council is participating in. |
